Democrat Invasion
This happened today, and I’m probably going to remember some of the details incorrectly. And my wife is technically in labor, but I have to record this for posterity or I’ll regret it:
At work today in the early childhood area, an older woman sits down next to me and starts making small talk. During the next few minutes, 2 staff members pass through the space, both looking fairly proper and motivated, as they were showing either prospective customers or volunteers the facility. The woman’s reaction was, roughly, “Those must be the Democrats moving in.”
Yes, because when the Dems choose a city for their national convention, their doctrine of big government extends to bulldozing children’s education centers a full 20 months beforehand.
Yes she was serious and yes I attempted to point out that many different organizations rent out the facility on a regular basis. To no avail.
If this is what the forces of reason are up against, I wonder if we shouldn’t all just move to an island somewhere, install a bitchin’ fiber optics line and call it a day (millennium).
